HEALTH ADVICE
Read on to find out the various health advice to keep you safe before, during and after each race. Whether you are a beginning or seasoned athlete, please take note of the following advice to help prevent you from injury or illness.
Stay Healthy & Safe
- Come prepared: Practice the disciplines and test the equipment you are going to use on race day. For a leg up, check out our training clinics and race day checklist.
- Stay Hydrated: Drink sufficiently before, during, and after the race. Drink stations with water and electrolytes are provided on the run and at the finish.
- Warm-Up: Stretch and warm up to prevent injuries.
- Pace Yourself: Race smart, avoid overexertion and finish strong. Start off easy if you are not a regular exerciser or have been under the weather recently.
- Listen to Your Body: Stop and seek help if you feel unwell.
- Look out! Keep left on the road/track and be mindful of your fellow competitors and other park users.
