MetaSprint Triathlon is a 2018 ITU Sprint World Championships qualifier

Earn yourself a ticket to the 2018 ITU Sprint World Championships on the Gold Coast at the MetaSprint Series Triathlon! Get your sunglasses and board shorts ready, and ride the wave down under. To qualify, enter the Sprint distance event, place Top 10 in your age group, and finish within 10% of the finish time of your particular age group champion.

The World Championships will be held from 12-16 September 2018 on the Gold Coast, Australia.

Key World Championships information:

• Entry is open to Singaporean nationals and PR (resident in Singapore for min. 3 years)
• Athletes must be members of the Triathlon Association of Singapore (TAS). More info about membership
• Athletes must fund their own entry and travel
• The entry fee is USD340
• Registration and payment of entry fees must be made through TAS
• Athletes must wear a national ITU race suit approved by TAS

Ride the wave to the 2018 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in Gold Coast, Australia

More than 5,000 of the world’s best elite and age group triathletes will be heading to Queensland for the final race of the 2018 season.

Athletes representing 46 nations will be competing at Southport Broadwater Parklands, the site of the highly successful ITU World Triathlon Gold Coast and home to the 2009 ITU World Championships.

The 2018 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final will celebrate the diversity of the sport of triathlon with athletes competing in Elite, Under 23, Junior and Elite Paratriathlon categories as well as the U23/Jnr Mixed Team Relay, Age Group – Standard and Sprint Distance-, and Open Paratriathlon events.
