Update on the MetaSprint Series Triathlon ORIGIN

Dear Athletes,

Following the success of our recently held events, the Aquathlon ORIGIN and the Duathlon ORIGIN, we had, as of last Friday, dates secured in May for the triathlon.

However, given this week’s government Covid-19 announcement, we are forced to postpone the event. Unfortunately it won’t take place in May or June, more likely in the last quarter of 2021. We fought hard to have events back and are heartbroken, but we are not giving up; we are determined to deliver a fabulous triathlon to round out the series. 

So, what happens next?

1. Your entry will be automatically rolled over to the new date. Keep your race kit.
2. You will be able to collect your goodies ordered from the MetaSport Shop at Decathlon SG Lab on: 

• Friday 21^st May – 12:00-8:00pm and
• Saturday 22^nd May – 11:00am-6:00pm

3. If you haven’t redeemed your MetaMiles for goodies yet, you have until Sunday 16 May midnight to do so. Follow the instructions here.

But wait! You can still race in our next generation of physical events. Run As One Singapore allows you to run with friends and peers, providing a real sense of competition and challenge, while complying with government safe distancing regulations.

Event details:

• Start and Finish: Singapore Sports Hub
• Date: TBC (you choose the day that suits you)
• Up to 30 runners per time slot (time slot booking required)
• Distance: 12.8km and 6km
• Individual or team of 4
• Live leaderboard
• Minimum age: 10 years
